Societe Generale

We aimed to design a space that feels both exacting and effortless. The open ceiling grid introduces a strong spatial rhythm, while curated textures and a restrained palette bring warmth without distraction. Every element was considered to support the pace, focus, and expectations of a high-performance workplace.

We wanted the arrival experience to feel composed and assured. The ceiling grid defines the structure from above, while the light feature introduces a focal point of reinforcement. The stone reception desk and subtle branding communicate presence without excess. The result is an atmosphere that feels confident, clear, and dynamic.

We treated circulation as an opportunity to enhance the spatial identity. Wood slats introduce rhythm and contrast against the exposed ceiling, softening the linearity of the corridor. Glass-fronted offices maintain visual transparency and allow daylight to reach deeper into the floorplate. The corridor becomes more than a passage; it reinforces the sense of openness and organization.

In shared spaces, we introduced contrast and ease. The long communal counter invites spontaneous interaction. Bold color accents, wood tones, and soft lighting offer a shift in atmosphere, allowing the space to reset the pace of the workday without breaking cohesion.

Societe Generale’s New York office is defined by its balance of precision and comfort. The layout supports workflow with intention, while every material and form contributes to a calm and intelligent environment. This is a workplace shaped for clarity, performance, and enduring use.
