Working at TMA

Training and Professional development

Certification and Continuing Education

Ted Moudis Associates is committed to supporting staff who want to enhance their skills, knowledge, and abilities through the study and passage of professional certification exams. Providing certain criteria are met, we will reimburse personnel a percentage of the cost of exam fees for tests related to NCIDQ, LEED, ARE, and WELL certifications. Continuing education at TMA is highly encouraged. We schedule regular Lunch & Learns for Continuing Education Unit credits and Workplace Webinars for Interior Design Continuing Education credits.

TMA Mentorship Program

Ted Moudis Associates has established a dedicated system of mentorship within the company, whereby more seasoned employees with significant expertise in project management, interior design, branding, furniture, and other disciplines are paired one on one with less experienced employees to teach and guide them through that field of study. For example, a veteran project manager may work with an entry or intermediate level designer to mentor them on the technical side of managing a project, or a furniture coordinator may team up with another staff member to train on the business development. This method of cross-disciplinary training allows personnel to cultivate a more eclectic and well-rounded skillset that contributes not only to their own personal and professional growth, but also to the firm’s goals values and goals.

Other Knowledge-Sharing and Training

The entire TMA team meets at least once a month to discuss recently completed projects, lessons learned, and best practices in architecture and interior design, workplace strategy, etc. Knowledge is also shared between employees through weekly tips and alerts, and monthly news updates. Revit support and training is available for designers to troubleshoot any task-related questions or issues.
