The Canaccord Genuity office was conceived as a spatial expression of clarity, contrast, and quiet strength. From reception to trading floor, every element is intentional. We focused on light, flow, and material balance to create an atmosphere that supports agility without sacrificing refinement. This is a workspace that reflects the energy of its users and the sophistication of its Midtown Manhattan surroundings.
The arrival experience introduces a sense of clarity and momentum. Visitors are welcomed by a sculptural black stone desk, framed by rich walnut and softened by ambient lighting. A double-height opening above creates an airy connection between floors, drawing daylight through the space and reinforcing a clear architectural rhythm.
details and accents
A custom tile wall behind the stair brings movement by catching light and creating depth. The staircase itself anchors the workplace with a clean gesture framed in glass and wood that links the levels while encouraging natural flow.
Transparency was a guiding principle. Private offices and conference rooms are wrapped in glass to share light across the deep floorplate. The result is an open, breathable layout that balances privacy with connection.
