Spatial Continuity
Apollo Global Management expanded its workplace across two floors to establish a more connected and legible environment. The project moves beyond a functional increase in area, repositioning the workplace as a continuous spatial system that supports movement, visibility, and interaction. Curved architectural elements replace conventional rectilinear planning, introducing a controlled fluidity across the floor plate.

Full Scope
The existing expansion required stronger continuity between floors and across departments. The design reorganizes circulation to reduce fragmentation and reinforce visual connections throughout the space. Curvature is used selectively to guide movement and soften transitions between zones, allowing the plan to read as a unified sequence rather than a collection of discrete rooms.
Arrival is treated as an active condition rather than a threshold. Elevator lobbies are expanded and programmed as social hubs, integrating reception, pantry, and informal collaboration into a single zone. This establishes immediate activity at entry while improving orientation.
sculpted connections
A restrained palette of thoughtfully selected materials reinforces consistency across the environment. Curved millwork, integrated bookcases, and custom planter benches are used to define zones without introducing visual noise. Reflective plaster surfaces, architectural lighting, and metal dividers are coordinated to maintain continuity while providing variation in texture and depth.
The result is a workplace that operates as a continuous system rather than a series of independent areas. Circulation, program, and material are aligned to support clarity, flexibility, and long-term usability without relying on overt formal gestures.
The workplace accommodates a range of work modes through a distributed program of meeting rooms, open collaboration areas, and focused environments. Conference spaces vary in scale and configuration to support different group sizes, while a centrally positioned library provides a quieter anchor within the overall plan. These elements are arranged to allow choice without disrupting overall spatial clarity.
