Workplace Strategist

This position requires someone who embraces the unique skills and experience for a high-volume deadline-driven position. To be successful the position requires high organization, self-motivation, exceptional attention to detail, and active listening skills.

General Responsibility 

  • Collect data and information from end users to support program development and alternative spatial solutions; customize and administer end-user surveys, facilitate focus groups, conduct interviews, plan and conduct end-user observation, prepare benchmarking and other necessary research

  • Interpret quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize into strategic recommendations

  • Develop, implement and manage communication plans to support successful transition into new workplace settings

  • Develop written and graphic presentations and white papers

  • Partner with the design team in the creation of progressive and appropriate planning solutions as required

  • Complete understanding and knowledge of trends, current issues and best practices in business and workplace today

  • Awareness of technology and its impact on mobility in the workplace


  • Possess outstanding analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and be an enthusiastic team player

  • Degree in relevant field

  • Experience in workplace design strategy and/or change management preferred, but not required

  • Space planning experience a plus

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop experience are essential. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT preferred

  • Knowledge of sustainable design strategies

  • Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills, and experience facilitating and participating in client engagement sessions preferred

  • Self-starter, ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality
