Environmental Brand & Graphic Designer – Senior

As the Senior Environmental Brand & Graphic Designer, you are a hands-on, innovative and critical thinker who aspires to the highest standards of creativity and design for our brand studio. In this role, you’ll be collaborating with a fast-paced interdisciplinary team of architects, interior and brand designers to deliver projects ranging from environmental graphics, brand design, signage, and wayfinding. You will demonstrate vision, generate multiple projects from conception to completion, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities 

  • Pay close attention to brand stewardship, art direction and composition, and demonstrate how color, materiality, and finish are appropriate for a variety of interior and exterior environmental solutions.

  • Define and develop concept design and design development for environmental graphics, signage, wayfinding, exhibits and other medium necessary to bring our clients brand to life.

  • Prepare production-ready artwork and final documentation that include specifications, materials, and locations for designed elements.

  • Plugged into emerging technologies/industry/design trends and willing to share internally.

  • Report to and review work and schedule with the Brand Studio Senior Director.

Qualifications:

  • 8 + years of professional experience in brand design, visual communication, signage and wayfinding for the built environment with a professional degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related field

  • Experience with project work involving way-finding and signage systems

  • Be able to multitask working on several projects at once, often with tight deadlines and with careful attention to detail

  • Comprehend projects at a high level to anticipate and avoid potential roadblocks

  • Be flexible in design and able to take direction, feedback and observations with a positive attitude

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills that work well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment

  • Collaborative, responsible, accountable, and professional work ethic

  • Proficiency with Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office

  • 3D visualization tools (Sketchup, Revit etc.) experience is a plus
