Ospraie Management, a growing asset firm, wanted an open, welcoming environment.
They found their new headquarters in a 15,000 square foot office in a prime Park
Avenue location. TMA demonstrated an intelligently designed elegant space comprising
of private offices, open areas, conference rooms and a trading area. Architectural
elements, with a classically modern design, not only define the space but also act as
a “roadmap” to help navigate around the core and also highlight key functional elements
throughout the space. A glowing onyx wall provides a dramatic backdrop to the dark brown,
wenge wood reception desk, which also acts as a secure home for the technology that
supports the receptionist. Upon leaving the reception area, there is a ropery cherry
wall that acts as a space divider and as a storage closet with multiple file drawers.
Another onyx feature, lit primarily by daylight, acts as the front wall of one of the
client conference rooms and provides a focal point that draws one towards the boardroom.
Along this corridor is a volume of ice-blue glass that is the trading room.
