Having outgrown their existing space yet desiring to remain in their present location, 9 West 57th Street, New York City, MacKay Shields moved to a larger space within the building. Wanting their new space to be representative of their standing in the industry. Mackay Shields turned to Ted Moudis Associates to design their 45,000 square foot expansion project, encompassing two floors. In creating the space, TMA offset the traditional furnishings with rich materials like marble and onyx to create a distinguished and sophisticated look. A spiral stair creates an elegant passageway between the floors. The hushed elegance of the space belies the existence of a 60-position state-of-the-art trading floor.
