For this New York City Investment Banking firm, TMA created a neatly-tailored and modern space to compliment the hustled, demanding world of today’s financial market. TMA designed an environment to elude openness and comfort while inspiring collaboration, concentration and movement. The L-shaped building which houses the offices of Khronos, LLC proved to be an invaluable and effectively utilized tool to TMA. Playing into the natural shape of the office space, the design begins from the initial entryway, which features a beautiful Conferencing Suite, and follows a comfortable flow of circulation directly into the main offices. The narrow “leg” of the L-Shape first presents the client with the HR, Administration and IT teams. Upon entering further, the space opens up to effortlessly reveal the Investment and Accounting teams, as well as multiple Meeting Rooms and the firm’s Library. Finally, at the tip of the office, the Café provides a momentary escape, encouraging staff to take a moment or two out of their busy schedules to relax and socialize. With bold design choices such as a honey-toned Zebrano wood and a predominantly muted palette, TMA accommodated the firm’s desire for an environment both calming and comfortable.
