When JP Morgan Chase relocated their Capital Markets Investment
Division to the Chase Tower in Downtown Chicago, they called upon
TMA for this mammoth undertaking. The provisions of this three-floor
expansive project required accommodations for 350 staff support
positions and a 10,000 square foot stand-alone data center, featuring
triple redundancy backup capacities. Due to the power of its facility,
JP Morgan Chase also demanded special accessibility considerations in
terms of lighting and environment to support the 24/7 demands of this
vital financial unit. In part, this concept is reflected in a technologically
complex trading workstation. Within the Trading Floor, upscale finishes
for wood, stone and fabric wall coverings are utilized throughout the
centralized Reception Area, Client Contact Areas and Conference Rooms.
All Trading Areas and Workstations exhibit functional, durable work
surfaces using wood panels and wood trim as complimentary accents.
Keeping in accordance with the image of the company, state-of-the-art
technology is evident as shown through the optimal display of plasma
screens throughout the workspace.
