Hunter Roberts Interiors, the new interiors divisions of a well known construction company, commissioned Ted Moudis Associates to design their headquarters. As part of their new branding, TMA designed an open and dynamic environment that would, not only, become a talent recruiter but establish the firm as a competitive force within the industry. The finished result successfully blends the culture of a new company with the years of experience of its management team. The program consisted of a gracious reception and waiting area, conference room, boardroom, private offices, marketing/finance suites, open plan positions, operations area and a pantry. Rich combinations of the materials palette required an extensive amount of custom design and detailing. These elements create numerous focal points throughout the space. On entering the space the Reception Area includes a wrap around wooden ceiling detail and an exposed cement wall framed in glass carrying the company’s logo. Two glass doors connect to the open area where frameless low iron glass partitions reinforce the dynamic and energy of the space. A unique oak and glass office front design acts as a backdrop while adding privacy to the executive offices. The furniture is modern in nature with wood and muted upholstery fabrics.
