| Ted Moudis Associates was retained to design the Executive Office for a financial firm in New York City. This global financial services company supports a high level of client interaction. An emphasis was placed on gathering spaces including a lounge equipped with a bar, enhanced pantry for both employees and guests, a fully outfitted Audio Visual boardroom and a complete upgrade of the core toilets. The design objective was to create an inviting and welcoming space that also establishes a strong corporate identity. The client wanted to maximize the natural light and views that were inherent in this upper floor while downplaying all of the interior columns. To accomplish this TMA introduced 2 large wood encased wall elements that defined the fronts of the private offices and concealed columns while providing bookcases on the inside of the office and art niches along the main corridor, allowing the client to showcase an extensive art collection of antique maps. |
