Design Manager, Chicago Office
As a Design Manager, Janice Fellows is greatly involved in every aspect of the design process, from conceptualizing the design and developing efficient space plans, to the selection of appropriate interior finishes. Janice has contributed more than 15 years of hands-on experience in corporate interiors. She understands that project success is determined early on in the design process, where information and ideas are exchanged between the client and design firm. As such, Janice pays particular attention to ensure that open lines of communication are established in order to fully understand the client’s needs and requirements, design style/preferences and price. Once a consensus is reached, she establishes and conceptualizes the design concept, develops the schematic design, implements planning concepts and coordinates with the technical staff to bring her designs to life - selecting finish materials, furniture, accessories, window treatments, and artwork. Janice decided to expand her studies abroad in Rome, Italy, where her historical and contemporary perspective of European architecture and design flourished. Her proficiency in the interior design field, her diversified skills, and her ability to put her clients at ease throughout the process make Janice a valuable team player.
